Our Process
1. Plan
This is where you and your designer will begin to formulate a personalised brief, discussing everything in a little more detail. It is important in the planning process for your designer to really understand the main priorities that you are aiming to achieve in your new space, whether that be lifestyle and cooking preferences to how much storage you need or the style you are wanting to implement. Your designer will also guide you through our design studio, explain more about our ethos, products and processes to give you a little insight into Katie Brown Kitchens.
2. Home Measure
To design your new space your designer will request measurements of the room. This can either be carried out with a home measure where your designer will arrange a visit to take measurements of your proposed room or if your home is not yet built, they will request your architect plans . From here, your designer will guide you through the entire process. They will be your single point of contact, ensuring you have everything you need at every step.
3. Design
At this stage, we encourage our clients to consider how much they would like to invest into their space, this will help your designer to keep it as close to the desired budget as possible. From there, it will take your designer up to 5 days to bring your design to life. Once the design is ready, a meeting will take place at our design studio, where you can see the design and make any necessary tweaks to make it tailored to you. Our focus is never too far from design and as such, there is never any pressure, it simply isn’t how we work! You are welcome to as many meetings as you need until the design and price feels right.
4. Approve and Order
Once you have received your non-obligation comprehensive quote and decided that Katie Brown Kitchens is the right fit for you. A 30% deposit is required; this enables your designer to move to the design implementation and manufacturing phases whereby we work on creating technical, plumbing and electrical drawings for the project. Before ordering, your designer will provide you with an order confirmation which specifies the details you have chosen. Once this has been signed, you will be provided with a personal schedule of works, pinpointing dates of trademen, delivery and installation.
5. Installation
When it comes to installing your new kitchen, we have a range of options to suit all your needs. Find the one that works best for you and, rest assured, whichever option you choose, we will be by your side throughout to make sure everything runs smoothly and simply. Much to the benefit of our clients, choosing our highly experienced fitters will ensure the best possible finish to your new kitchen. During your installation your designer will be at hand to oversee your project, ensuring continuity whilst providing assistance with any questions you may have.
6. Aftercare
At Katie Brown Kitchens we believe that the aftercare service is as important as the design and installation process. Once your kitchen is complete, we don’t like to consider that as the end of our relationship, we remain on hand for any questions or help that you may require. On top of this, we provide excellent warrantee as we are confident that our product is made to last. As the buyer, you have a lifetime guarantee on the carcasses, 10 years guarantee on the doors and 25 years guarantee on the worktops.
